with New Parts Supply Logic
Honda, a global motor company, faced challenges in fulfilling high-priority breakdown requests for the motorcycle, vehicle, and power product lines due to its traditional order fulfillment processing and stock strategy. By implementing a new solution in Oracle E-Business Suite, Honda revised its legacy process of sequential order processing to one with a priority reserve stock strategy based on a matrix that considers breakdown versus stock orders. The new process enables breakdown requests to be prioritized across national and regional part centers, resulting in faster demand fulfillment. The result: 99.99 percent of urgent breakdown requests are fulfilled on a priority basis. Join this session to learn more. Moscone South Krishnan Ganesan krishnan.ganesan@chainsys.com
